Concrete includes of binding material and aggregates. The binding material sometimes could be a combination of cement and water. Aggregates used may be something from rock, sand to gravel. So, fine or coarse aggregates combined at the side of water and binding material makes concrete. This specific mixture is employed for construction purpose. To see and establish quality, strength and sturdiness of concrete used on website, it is to bear numerous quality tests. As concrete is employed to create all large and little structures, it is important to perform concrete testing to confirm the resilience and strength of the building or structure created.

Vibrating
Table for Concrete Testing - Designed to carry a load of 140 kg. The
apparatus comprises of a motor fixed with a variable pitch pulley placed
in a cabinet. The vibrations are done by means off-balance masses
rotating on a shaft of a vibrator clamped to the underside of the
tabletop. The table top is 50cm x 50cm and has stops along its corners
to prevent molds from walking off the table during vibration. A crass
arm removable on a vertical rod at the center of the table is been given
to hold the molds while operating the between a maximum of 3600
vibrations down to 2600 vibration per minute. A speed regulation handle
is given for increasing or decreasing frequency. A switch is provided
for starting the motor. Suitable for the operator on 440 Volts, A.C.
Three Phase, 50 Cycles. Tabletop size : 75cm x 75cm & 100cm x 100cm
also available at an extra cost.
It
is used for finding out the linear deformation which is caused by two
reference pts fixed on a loading member. This portable gauge is designed
for a gauge length of 20 cm. of the reference pins. The deformation is
been indicated by a 0.002 x 5mm dial gauge attached to the apparatus. It
comes with two standard bars for 20 cm gauge length supplied in a
wooden case. Accessories: Reference pins in a packet of 100 nos. at an
extra cost.
This
apparatus is used for determining the lateral extension of 15cm dia x
30 cm high cement concrete cylinders while testing them under
compression. The unit comprises of two movable frames pivoted at one
end. The extensometer is fixed to the sample with the help of tightening
screws. The lateral extension is shown on a dial gauge of 0.002mm x 5mm
is placed on the upper ring and the tip of the dial gauge rests on an
anvil. The zero on the dial gauge can be set by adjusting the anvil
screw. Comes in a wooden carrying case.
This
apparatus is designed for finding out the deformation and strains of
15cms. The diameter and 30 cms high cement and concrete cylinders when
applied to compressive loads. It Comprises of a frame with a bottom ring
and a top ring with tightening screws to firmly clamp the compressometer
over the cylinder. A dial gauge .002mm x 5mm is mounted on the upper
ring and the tie of the dial gauge rests on an anvil. The zero on the
dial gauge can be set by adjusting the anvil screw. Supplied in a wooden
carrying case.
This apparatus is used
for checking the slump of fine aggregate in the determination of bulk
and apparent specific gravity and absorption of fine aggregate. The
equipment consists of a conical metal
This
apparatus is used for checking the density of both fresh and hardened
concrete and it is of interest to the engineer for numerous reasons
including its effect on durability, Strength, and resistance to
permeability. Hardened concrete density is been calculated either by
simple dimensional checks, followed by weighing and calculation or by
weight in air/water buoyancy methods. The density of Hardened Concrete:
The density of hardened concrete specimens such as cubes and cylinders
can be quickly and accurately determined using a Buoyancy Balance.
Buoyancy Balance: The buoyancy balance system developed by us consists
of a rigid support frame. Incorporating a water tank mounted on a
platform. A mechanical lifting device is used to raise the water tank
through the frame height immersing the specimen suspended below the
balance fixed on a cradle. The balance supplied may also be used as a
standard weighting device, thus providing a versatile and comprehensive
weighing system in the laboratory. The sample is weighed in air and in
water to calculate the density of fresh concrete.Used for determining
the slump of fine aggregate in the determination of bulk and apparent
specific gravity and absorption of fine aggregate.
The
loading unit is of fully welded construction having a crosshead, base
and strong side plates. The hydraulic jack is settled to the base. The
platens of the machine are hardened, ground and cleaned. The upper
platen is furnished with self-aligning action. To encourage testing of
various size samples, suitable size spacers are provided. A ball
seating attachment is fixed on the upper platen to test the machine\\\'s
stability. Pumping Unit: The hydraulic pumping unit is: -Manually
Operated or -Electrically Operated The loads are measured on Bourdon
tube type load gauges which are calibrated against certified load rings.
The load gauges are fitted with a maximum load pointer. Both the
Pumping units, Manually operated and Electrically operated, are of
two-speed design. The two-speed pump facilitates the fast approach of
the platens for daylight closure, thus eliminating the need for the lead
screw. In the Electrically Operated Pumping Units, load gauges are
fitted with micro switches to switch-off the motor when the load
approaches the maximum capacity gauge, avoiding any over-loading. Relays
are incorporated so that the motor does not restart on its own after a
power breakdown. The electrically operated pumping units are provided
with a control knob to adjust the pacing rate which can be effectively
controlled by an experienced operator during the course of testing by
observing the progress of the load gauge reading. Potable Compression
Testing Machine - The equipment consists of a Loading Unit, an integral
double acting pumping unit fitted to the base of the machine and a
calibrated Load Gauges is fitted with the top. It has a detachable
Hydraulic Jack. The hydraulic cylinder is placed at the base of the
Loading Unit. Ranges: 50kN to 3000kN.
